The Slaughter Family

Ever since I did family pictures for Shannon way back in February and we got snowed on, we have talked about doing another shoot...  Well, it took until the end of April to get some good weather and we still ended up rescheduling one last time.

Shannon and I have been friends since we were roommates way back in our college days :)  We had so much fun together being young and wild and now we get to be mommies for the first time together.  

To say that Nash wasn't into the shoot today would be an understatement... there may or may not have been some secret stashing of the little basketball that was way more fun than getting his picture taken... but all turned out well!

Ava is 1!

Ava and her family were my first official clients and I will forever be thankful for them giving me a chance!  I am also photographing her mommy and daddy's wedding in a few more weeks, but that's a whole other story.  Ava is such a sweet little girl and I can't believe she will be one already!

Jasper is 2!

This little guy is going to be a heartbreaker!  I had a lot of fun with Jasper and his parents hiking up a hill - note to self - ensure there is a flat location when using a stool... Happy 2nd Birthday Jasper!

Josie and Jackson - 6 months

I was so excited to finally meet these two today, they are the first official members of my Baby's First Year Plan!  I can't wait to see them again in 6 months and see how they have changed.  I love this age, 6 month old babies are just the happiest and sweetest - Josie and Jackson are no exception.  Here are a few favorites from today!

Kelly, Andy, Owen, and Baby ?

My wonderful neighbors are expecting another baby Z!  Kelly is the awesome girl who made me my little newborn knitted swaddlers and I cannot wait to use them on their new baby (fingers crossed for the purple one and a headband...)!

Hannah, Zander, and Caleigh

I have known Hannah, Zander, and Caleigh's mom since high school and I cannot believe that she has such grown up kiddos!  These kids definitely started my week out on the right foot :)  AND, they definitely take the prize for most outfit changes in one session! There were so many cute shots, I had a tough time narrowing it down to just a few to share.

My kids

I feel like I don't take as many pictures of my own little guy these days as I'd like... mostly because he doesn't much care for my camera in his face :)  But I managed to get a really good shot of Dillon and our other baby Sophie so I thought I would share.

Baby Paige

I had an amazing weekend, full of gorgeous little girls :)  Little Paige was just one week old today!  My youngest - and tiniest newborn to date.  She was such an angel.  I had so many cute shots it was hard to pick just a few favorites.  Congratulations to Elizabeth and Chris on their beautiful little girl!

Leah is 2!

I felt like I had already met Leah before our shoot today because I have already seen so many pictures of her :)  Leah and my little guy are just about the same age and it is hard for me to believe that they are both 2 already!  We had a lot of fun running around with a giant pink balloon this afternoon - Happy birthday Leah!
