Kasey and Matt - MARRIED!

Where to even start...

Kasey and Matt and their little family were my first ever photography clients.  I had never taken photos for anyone other than friends and family, but they had faith in me then and they did again when they asked me to photograph their wedding even though I had never shot one before.  I can't thank them enough for having the confidence in me.  I loved every second of shooting their wedding.

Kasey, is gorgeous.  Matt's not so bad himself :)  I kept telling her that she would be amazing advertising for me because, let's face it, who DOESN'T want to look like that on their wedding day.  They are such a wonderful couple and I was honored to share their big day with them.

This will be photo overload...

And just a couple quickly from the reception.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience shooting my first wedding.  Thank you again Kasey and Matt for choosing me to capture such an amazing day.  I hope you have a wonderful life together!

Venue: Creekside Conference and Event Center
Cake: Anna Marie's Cakery

Changes!

I made some changes to the blog today.  I updated the photos in the slide show and switched to a wider layout so that I can make the photos larger in my sneak peeks!  A big share is coming with the photos from the wedding I shot last weekend (a couple of the sneak peeks I posted on Facebook were added to the slideshow) and wedding coverage information is being added as well!

I am considering adding senior portrait packages as well, so if anyone out there knows of any seniors who might like a deal please have them contact me!

More coming, stay tuned.

Lily is 2!

Today we had a beautiful day, a beautiful location, and a beautiful little girl... who quite frankly didn't like our plan for the morning :)  Lily sure did make her parents and I work hard for the few smiles we did get and believe me it wasn't for a lack of trying!

I guess they say two is "difficult" for a reason.

But all things considered she still makes an adorable little model!  Happy second birthday Lily!

The Peterson Family

Well, our Ohio weather went from warm and sunny to cold and rainy overnight!  Luckily for me, the Peterson family has a beautiful home so we just did our photo shoot inside.

Chris and Mackenzie have two of the most adorable kids.  I can't get over the hair on Elle, she is only 7 weeks old!  And Grayson reminds me so much of my little guy, always on the move.

Here are a few of my favorites from their shoot!

Thanks so much guys, it was great meeting your family!

Baby Abram

Baby Abram was another surprise gender reveal.  I am loving parents not finding out until delivery, it is so exciting!  AND Abram is the newest member of the Baby's First Year Plan!

Every newborn session I do gets better.  I feel more confident in getting the poses that I love and well, the adorable babies certainly help it along :)  Abram was a dream!  He was by far the easiest baby to date and that made for a SUPER quick session.  If every newborn was as good a sleeper as Abram I could do these sessions all day long.

The problem with a fantastic session?  Narrowing it down to just a few more to share here - I'm pretty sure I say that every time, but this time was especially hard.  I love them all!  Anyway, here are a few of my favorites!

Thank you Amy for allowing me to meet your adorable little guy!  I cannot wait to see him again in 6 months and see how he has changed!

Baby Sawyer

Baby Sawyer is here!  I LOVE that Sawyer's Mommy and Daddy did not find out that she was a girl until the day she was born.  I only wish I had enough will power to do that the next time around!

The benefit of having your next door neighbor do your newborn session is that we ended up splitting this into two days... maybe Sawyer didn't want to sleep... maybe my child couldn't be separated from me for more than 3 seconds without having a meltdown... At any rate the two days got us some SUPER cute shots and I managed to narrow it down to just a few to share.  I guess I should save a few surprises for her Mommy and Daddy :)

And we couldn't finish up without including big brother Owen!  It feels like just yesterday that he and Dillon were this tiny...
