I am not sure how it happened, but it has already been 3 months since the last time I took Charlie's photos!  She still has ALL that hair, but now she is sitting up by herself and her personality is really showing.  Not only was I so excited to meet the rest of her brothers and sisters this time around - but I am so honored to have repeat clients.

We snuck this session in right before the rain started in on us again today - perfect timing!

I love one year olds.  It's just such a fun age - their personalities really come to life.  They are learning and trying new things every day... I especially love when they have never had cake prior to their one year photo session...

Noah is so adorable - but he sure made his mommy and I work for the very few smiles we got out of him!  We started out with some serious shots, tried our hardest to make him smile.  Not even Mickey Mouse Clubhouse got more than a one second semi-smile.

Also - I am pretty bad at narrowing down sessions that include a smash cake... I always end up sharing a few extra!

I met this awesome family early this morning for their family session.  Thank goodness we decided on morning instead of evening because the temperature got up around 90!  I absolutely love when families are excited for their sessions, but I especially love when the dad's are excited!  It makes me so happy when they have input and have a good time.  

Okay - on to the photos...

Where has the time gone?  I think that pretty much sums up how I feel about these kiddos.  It was just yesterday TK was Dillon's age - he will be 13 this year.  13!  TK and Mady are so grown up and it makes me so sad!  I sure missed these kids - and their parents - while they were living in Texas for the last 5 years.  The few short visits we had just weren't enough to catch up.  I'm so glad to have them here in Ohio for the next few months!

I can't say that photographing newborns is always the EASIEST job - but the two that I had this week definitely made me love to do it more than I already did.  That said, the two that I had couldn't have been more different - boy/girl, 9lbs/6lbs, hair/no hair - but they were both super good sleepers!

I photographed Anderson's big brother Jasper for his second birthday just a few months ago and I was so happy when his mom and dad asked me back to do their newborn shoot as well.  Anderson sure does resemble his big brother!

Anderson wasn't too sure about going to sleep when I first arrived, but once he had a full belly he was out!  And check out THAT HAIR!  I love it.  

Gavin's mommy Teri and I go way back to our college days.  It seems like we were just living together, working at Garfield's, and having entirely too much fun just yesterday.  I CANNOT believe that it is time for this little guy's birthday.  I feel like he was just born and now he is turning ONE!  Gavin is such a sweet happy boy and he was soooooo smiley for his shoot today.  I normally try to only sneak peek about 5 or 6 photos, but seriously I could barely narrow it down to these.

And then the cake... well note to self - bring a towel for clean up next time around!
