The Heine Family

There are always those couples that whenever they are together you can just feel how happy they are. Brittney and PJ are the perfect example of that and are probably the nicest people I have ever met. They couldn't be more perfect for each other. And now they are parents to the cutest little guy, and he was my very first ever newborn! I cannot believe Jackson is already 3 months old!

We had a gorgeous afternoon to explore this beautiful park... along with 348395 other photographers... seriously it was nuts. Like you had to wait for another photographer to finish before you could move to a new spot... But in all seriousness it was so much fun, and I can't wait until I get to see these guys again!

The Hoge Family - Kerrigan is 1 and Ty is 3!

I got the chance to meet this wonderful family early yesterday morning and hang out at the park (I also made a mental note to choose parks WITHOUT playgrounds, way too tempting!) just in time to photograph Kerrigan's 1st year and Ty's 3rd year. Ty was pretty upset that we weren't just at the park to play, but who wouldn't be? Kerrigan on the other hand... I mean look at her, she is just the happiest little thing.

Connor, Ella, Jackson, and Liam

My weekend got a off to an excellent start with these four cousins! Finally some great weather we can all enjoy! These kiddos parents wanted a surprise group shoot for their grandma so don't tell anyone :) Such a sweet idea to do some shots in front of the church where their grandparents got married.

Hallie and Hannah

Today started out a little rough. Hannah woke up with a cold and I had a whole other concept for today's shoot that was shot down by the orchard spraying pesticides all over the place so we switched gears... Good thing my nieces are up for just about anything :) Hannah is already 18 months - I can't believe she's that old already. Hallie is the perfect little model - and they are both gorgeous so that doesn't hurt things at all... and I might be only a little biased.

(This one shows pretty well how they both felt about the whole photo shoot :))

The Slaughter Family

Ever since I did family pictures for Shannon way back in February and we got snowed on, we have talked about doing another shoot... Well, it took until the end of April to get some good weather and we still ended up rescheduling one last time.

Shannon and I have been friends since we were roommates way back in our college days :) We had so much fun together being young and wild and now we get to be mommies for the first time together.

To say that Nash wasn't into the shoot today would be an understatement... there may or may not have been some secret stashing of the little basketball that was way more fun than getting his picture taken... but all turned out well!
